Board of Directors
SMOOTH is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our board of
Directors is made up of a committed group of Central Coast residents
with diverse professional, civic, social service, or non-profit backgrounds.
All members share a common concern and interest in serving seniors, the
disabled or economically disadvantaged residents.
The Board meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 11:30 AM to
1:30 PM at the SMOOTH office in Santa Maria. Meetings are devoted to
providing staff with input on operational issues, developing policy,
reviewing SMOOTH's financial position, discussing fund-raising or grant
opportunities, and exploring new services for the community.
